I've been hoping for this for quite a while now, and dang, I missed it.


My question:

On a more local level for the interest of Floridians, what is your advice for what we can do to hasten the demise of the right-wing dictatorship just up the road from you, in that seething pit of snakes in the Florida Legislature?

Aside from wresting back the governorship and cabinet, and passing Amendments 5 and 6 (redistricting) and defeating Amendment 1 (which would repeal public campaign financing) specifically-- we're soon going to be subjected to the most tightly-controlled right-wing Republican legislature in state history.

These far right cranks are already formulating devious plans for a special session just after the election to try to override Governor Crist's recent vetoes that are causing them apoplexy.


(As we've seen, they refused to call a special session this past summer to allow voters to decide about offshore oil drilling, defying Governor Crist, but waste no time in calling one for more selfish partisan destruction of our state.)


With jackals like this, what can ordinary folks do to sand up the gears of this wrecking machine?
