That question was raised during the ACORN debacle. We never got a clear answer however he was funded at one time, and maybe still, by The Leadership Institute which produced such luminaries as Karl Rove, Grover Norquist, Ralph Reed, James Gannon/Guckert et al.

But most interesting was the information that Facebook Investor, Peter Thiel, was funding him. Very interesting article HERE about the beliefs of this guy. Such as:

"Is the new consciousness about race, gender, and sexual preference really the antidote to America's problems or a cause of them?" Thiel's book asks in its introduction. Another representative quote: "Multiculturalists like thinking of themselves as victims far too much to want to end their victimization. They need their imaginary oppressors to
give their lives meaning."

Thiel's book does not spare homosexuality. "Much behavior is being conducted in public, for the express purpose of shocking and offending others. The shock is then called 'homophobia' and is used as evidence of the oppression and victimization of homosexuals." The book (published in 1995) argues against Stanford instituting domestic partner benefits, complaining "even in purely economic terms, the costs are substantial...The end result is something of a random scrambling of people into "relationships," all claiming the right to live off of everyone else."

Sounds like a guy who would be behind O'Keefe's sexist, racist videos.






The woman who warned the CNN reporter handed over emails and it seems that she, Izzy Santa, who does get credit for stopping this despicable act, mentioned that she contacted 'the funder' of this sexual entrapment plot to let him/her know that there were issues with it. She did not name the funder, yet.

As for lawsuits, several have been filed against O'Keefe, Breitbart and Giles. One in particular looks like they should prevail and hopefully in the discovery phase, get some information on who is behind these criminals.
