126. First off, those big rigs are paying one hell of a lot of road taxes. You
should be thanking them, not bitching at them! Your acting like its your right to drive on our socialized highway system, when in fact it's a privilege.

Big rigs that are loaded heavy have to grab lower gears to climb grades. The driver would love to continue at the posted speed climbing, but it's not always possible. When going down hills they pick up speed fast and sometimes their brakes will get hot trying to keep their rig at a safe speed. For your safety, I would stay out of their way.

As far as traffic signals, some places like route 31 in Michigan the signals are synchronized. The trick is to drive the posted speed limit and not speed off to the next red light. I would love to see the USA do what they do in Mexico. In Mexico the yellow light will start blinking on and off just prior to turning red. I would like the USA do what they do in Canada, and require everybody to have their headlights on during the day and night. This makes you more visible to truck drivers, especially when it's raining or snowing. You'd be surprised how many idiots out there with no common sense driving white cars with no headlights in a blinding snowstorm, or light gray cars in the rain.
