I am not trying to cover anything. I am responding to the OP. You are defending Conservative Buzz words. I have employed their use in Dmocratic campaigns and I know why they are used but they are NOT Democratic terms. You are implying that they are. No Democratic presidential candidates use those terms as a slogan. President Obama didn't. if you recall, he ran on "Hope and Change".Bill Clintonhad, "Its the economy stupid" and JK had"Help is on the way"or something like that. Most congressional races, and other races, especially in red states, throw in those buzz words to appeal to the GOP. Those are NOT words for the base and again, you imply they define us. You are mistaken.
