Wall Street uses nature then tosses it aside when no longer useful. It is not profitable to fix the leak, so no one does. The government should have been hiring and bringing in the 'best minds' since day one and ON TOP of this from the first minute they heard about it.
If this was still George Bush and Dickhead I would be raking them over the coals and howling mad at the stars! I guess survival of species turned out to be unprofitable so no one cared.
