6. I am sick over this, Bluebear.
I will call/email Jim Webb, Mark Warner, Bobby Scott, and Obama (again!) tomorrow. Hell, maybe we need to do it every single day until they sit up and take fucking notice.

I am sorry I ever believed in Obama regarding human rights issues. I was a sucker...I guess a lot of us were. TokenQueer tried to warn me about Obama's stance when it comes to the bible and teh gays. I told TokenQueer that he had nothing to worry about. Obama was just being politically expedient, I said. Give him at least 30 days to do something about DADT. 30 days went by, then his first hundred days, now a YEAR!!!

It is sickening to think about how you and every other gay person is being treated in this age of 'change' and 'hope'. Obama could not have been elected without the GLBT community's support. How dare he do this to people who worked so hard to help him. Although TokenQueer supported Clinton in the primary, he was 100% behind Obama once he was our candidate - volunteering, attending rallies, donating, the whole nine yards.

Yep, I am sick and thoroughly disgusted. Let us know if there's anything else you think we could do.
