39. Earl Warren wanted Warren Olney to serve as Chief Counsel
The two were a crime fighting duo from their time in California. Allen Dulles and Gerald Ford did all they could to foist the puke turd Rankin.

Just started reading : Gerald McKnight's history of the Warren Commission. It should be required reading. Jim DiEugenio gives us a spanking good review: Breach of Trust.

As head of Justice's Criminal Division Olney also had a shared history with FBI Director Hoover that was altogether different. Hoover despised Olney. As one FBI agent remarked, "Olney was the only guy who had balls enough to stand up to Hoover." (p. 41)

Kind of puts the ass in fascism, that guy.

PS: Thank you for all the work you've done in regard to making the truth about Dallas available for others to learn, MinM. Especially me.
