Liberals and progressives need to calm the #%@^ down and see what's up. Everyone is so busy heaping on the complaints that they're not even listening. For one, this proposal is INCORRECTLY being compared to John M's across-the-board spending freeze. It's not. It is, according to today's WSJ an attempt to a target 'pork'programs supported by lobbyist.

Listen. Obama has, no doubt, missed the signs. He's buried his head in the wonky business of policy making and stopped listening to "the people". But let's just see if he can coarse-correct and make this thing right before we write the man off. Surely, after a scant one year, we can do that.
