We will none of us ever know how different our world would have been if John and Bobby had lived. I am hoping to see Obama have the courage to stand up for us. I have suggested in my correspondence to the White House, though, that the first step to getting out of a hole is quit digging and that if you're suffering from a perception that your running the Goldman Sachs administration you might want to flush the GS guys out of your office. I'm encouraged to see he let Volcker and Warren out of that broom closet he's had them in. I even saw Goolsbee's quoted in a recent article. I think he was stashed behind the water heater in the basement. All good signs these players on the team have been moved to the front. Disturbing he is still pushing Bernanke's nomination but we'll see.
