15. No, actually, the "hicks" out here are pretty liberal
Some of them are relocated New Yorkers, many more are the "artsy fartsy" Liberal types.

I posted a link yesterday to a site giving some stats on the 2008 Presidential election.

The entire state...even the four Western Mass counties...voted overwhelmingly Democrat. In fact, in the little group of Hilltowns where I live, only one of them actually had more Republican votes.

That being said, though, I haven't noticed any Coakley signage around, although I have to admit I wasn't really looking. It's just that the Brown sign was so prominent nobody could miss it. I wanted to set fire to it...
