198. Ever since I supported his campaign in 2003.

And I have never regretted it for a day since then.

Howard did not present his public critique of the HCR mess with any kind of joy.

He has been a loyal and consistent supporter of the president, despite his marginalization and mistreatment at the hands of this White House.

Why? Because Dr. Dean puts the public good above personal ambition.

He is one of my very few true political heroes.
