Security tight after student brings guns to Fed. Way school

"Extra security is on hand at Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way today after a 10th grader brought three loaded guns and extra ammunition to school on Thursday.

The teen and another student believed to have been working with him are being held at the King County Juvenile Detention Center, said Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer. The teen brought the weapons to school to sell, not to commit any violence, authorities said.

The two teens and possibly a third are believed to have stolen the weapons from a State Patrol trooper's Pierce County home earlier that day, Troyer said. The six guns stolen were in a safe, but Troyer said it was unclear whether the safe was locked."

Sheeez. They also locked down a school here in my area because of a bomb threat today. In the Cleveland area within the last few weeks they have closed about 5 schools because of bomb threats. This was before the VT shootings.
