They organize their lives and their thoughts on paranoia and neurosis. They can't or won't use logic or listen other views that digress from theirs. They are all emotion and no brain. And yes, they will "explode" in order to attempt to intimidate you because that's all they have: threat of violence and violence. They aren't in power right now so they can't threaten to use "The System" to neutralize you, so violence is their only card left to play.

Next time, call the police and file a disorderly persons violation against any person who does this to you.
