Obligate low- and middle-income citizens to choose between paying for health insurance and feeding their families?

And then fine them if they make the "wrong" choice?

What kind of a choice is THAT? Can we accept that as the Senate's final word? NO WE CAN'T.

I'm REALLY curious to hear Obama's take on this. Like Howard says: WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT.

The last thing I want to see right now is our first black president waving a white flag.
