the bridge
this was a heavily guarded bridge, and is used routinely by US military convoys. TO get a bomb past the guards? that means the guards were in on it.

the parliament.
not only is this INSIDE the green zone, it has additional heavy security on top of that. The only place more secure is the residence of General Pace.
they search everyone, every time, everyday. To get a bomb past the outside guards, the US guards, the inside the green zone protection for parliament, and deep inside that building?
Think of trying to sneak into the white house, and making your way into the west wing, and blowing up a suicide bomb there. Iraqi security is supposedly tougher because they are in a damned civil war.

unfortunately, the MSM will not give this the look that it needs. nor will it question Bush's latest lame proclivitious proclamatory exhalations.
