I've been reading on Twitter: #iamthemob Talk about a cess-pool. Free Republic has nothing on that hashtag...open threats, crazier than usual insanities. The following website is getting big play over there, being re-tweeted. The price of beef, pork, and chicken is plummetting. The price of non-organic milk, otherwise known as liquid chemical sludge, is plummeting as well. That's good for consumers, right? Wrong. The price is falling because family farmers and those with any sense at all are dumping their livestock as fast as they can. Why? Because the same speculators that caused the current economic catastrophe have fled Wall Street for the CBOT, investing heavily in grain, oil, copper, and other natural resources that are traded in Chicago. As a result, the price of grain is skyrocketing. Smart producers know they won't be able to feed their animals if this keeps up, so they're liquidating now. This is a great time to stock up on meat. And if you don't do it now, within a year, you won't be able to.

What can you do? As I said in an earlier post, buy a freezer or learn how to dry or can meat. Do it now. The price of food is about to go through the roof. Stock up on flour, sugar, and other commodities. And, don't tell anyone that you have a reserve of food. Why? Because after Stalin destroyed Russia's farming economy, and the urban population got real hungry, he seized all of the food that farmers had stored. Think it can't happen here? Let's see--speculators drive the price of grain through the roof; farmers dump their livestock causing a glut, but they don't replenish the animals they cull which leads to a shortage. Meanwhile, as the speculators drive up the price of grain, more and more farmers plant grain to get in on the deal, which drives the prices even higher. Why you ask? Wouldn't more grain mean lower prices? Nope. When the price of grain starts rising, farmers will want to plant it, creating a demand for seed. But there is only so much seed to go around. So, to meet the demand for seed, grain that should be processed for consumption will be diverted to seed, expensive seed at that. Because this is where the laws of supply and demand hit home. And then, just when you think it can't get worse, the "greens" decide to regulate how much dust combines (equipment that is used to harvest grain) can emit, making it even more expensive to harvest grain, and even more farmers are priced out of business.

Understanding the Delphi Technique

In an jaw-dropping article titled "Using the Delphi Technique to Achieve Consensus: How it is leading us away from representative government to an illusion of citizen participation," Linda Stuter explains how this mind control method, invented by the Rand Corporation, is being used by neo-progressives and socialists to promote a oneness of thought. One such neo-progressive is Peter Senge, a failed engineer who went back to college, got a degree in organizational communication, and wrote a book about how it was all the employer's fault that he was a poor engineer. Again, juvenile logic, but his book, Dance of Change is considered the essential work on business communication. Almost every leftwing politico adheres to Senge's cockamamie theories, which amount to hand holding and Kumbaya singing, with no consideration at all given to a little thing called productivity. Senge is also a god of sorts in the green religions of urban elitists and academia. His book is widely used in communication and business courses at left-leaning universities.

The emphasis of the Delphi Technique or as Senge calls it, the "Fifth Discipline," is on oneness or consensus through perceived involvement of everyone. It's a based on the perversion of a principle of human behavour first noted by researcher Abraham Maslow in 1943: human beings have a need to belong. Uber-elitists recognize this and have devised media strategies to include as many people as possible. It works. Remember "Change We Can Believe in" or "Yes We Can?" This is an effective community organizing technique and a deadly weapon against freedom of thought.

When you are at a town hall meeting, be prepared for your represntative and his/her supporters to first try to Delphi you with admonitions of "we have to consider what's best for everyone" and "we all will suffer if we don't act." Notice the appeals to your emotions; be aware of any attempt to associate you with any group you don't want to be associated with. When they do this, they are trying to find out what group you identify with, so they can adjust their rhetoric. If someone calls you a racist, sexist, or any other of the left-wing "ists," first deny it, and then fire back with a label that drives them wild, e.g "I'm not a racist; I'm also not an elitist. I'm a citizen with a question. That's all." Then repeat the question while looking hurt and offended.

Homeschool adIf they can't Delphi you or get you to drink any of Senge's special Koolaid, they'll start with the big words. You gotta love this one. Sure, they're trying to insult you, to make you feel stupid and destroy your self-esteem, but don't despair. They only pull the look-how-many-big-words-I-know routine when you've got them on the run. Good job. But don't just stand there. Give chase. If you let them get away, they might not have the fortitude to engage you again. If you don't understand what they said, ask for clarification. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that? I'm not sure I understand what you said." Sure, they'll repeat it like you're an idiot, but that's okay. It gives you a minute to be sure you understand what they are trying to force you to believe, or as Senge calls it--helping you experience a profound change in your thinking.

Don't try to mimmick their bullying techniques. Just ask and answer questions from your own experience. No matter what the neo-progressive thugs want you to believe, the individual counts. Don't use words you wouldn't normally use. Remember, that's the technique they're trying to use on you. Is it working? Be polite even if you have to fake it. Fake politeness is what you are getting from them, so give it back. Show as little emotion as possible, academics consider this a sign of intellectual weakness. Yes, they are trying to push your buttons; they are trained professionals at stirring emotional responses, but they can't push buttons they can't find. Be polite, syrupy if necessary, just don't blow your top and expose all of your buttons.

If you are speaking with your elected official or union bullies, remember they are trained to talk. You need to be ready to talk also. The only way to engage someone trained in the Delphi Technique is to be aware that you are being manipulated and be willing to answer that manipulation with solid facts and sincere conviction. Remember, these people are emotionally and intellectually needy. If you don't go along, they will throw rocks at you and call you names. They will taunt you about the things they know hurt you. But remember the lessons of the playground when you were a child. Sooner or later, the bully finds himself alone. Everyone else moves on and grows up. Which is what the uber-elitists who are throwing shovels full of health care reform at us should do.
