We didn't wear hats but dressed for the club and had a fabulous buffet lunch. We saw some fabulous outfits and hats. Everyone was really into the whole Kentucky Derby scene.
Heather had never bet on a horse race so this was all new for her. I had several winners--the biggest one only paid $8.00--but we were only doing $2.00 bets, so we didn't go broke. :rofl:
Our table had a small tv with all the different race tracks on different channels and when the Derby came on the excitement was palatable.
