Taxing comes in when you start looking at the retail sales, and the large commercial operations (which should have to pay for permits to grow for sale).

The point of legalization is to create a commercial market, which can be regulated and taxed accordingly (and large commercial organizations would quickly form in this industry). No one is talking about sticking it to Johnny Pothead down the street who has a few plants in his Grandmas garden. Thats unreasonable, uncontrollable, and just stupid. Mentioning it is a distraction in itself.

We are going to instead be taxing Marbolo's subsidy, Potbolo, and General Mill's acquisition of Green Weed (part of their organic department).
