104. If you honestly think the Great Depression was not objectively "worse" than our current economic
crisis, I question your historical knowledge. In the 30's, unemployment hovered around 25%, vast stretches of farmland turned to dust, and the country damn near fell apart. We're undoubtedly in the beginning of a very serious economic crisis, but we aren't in the ballpark of the Great Depression quite yet.

That's not to say the our current situation isn't grave, or that from an individual perspective it may not be every bit as bad, but a bit of perspective is necessary.
