IT WAS HER CHOICE TO TROT OUT HER CHILDREN INTO THE LIMELIGHT.
No matter HOW much I wanted to be vice president (FAT chance with McCain, to begin with), if MY teen daughter had a pregnancy going on (married or not), I would have said "no thanks".. especially given the abstinence bullshit she preached...
She saw an opportunity for HER ascendancy to the "next level" and she never gave a crap about how it would affect her children..especially that little baby who needed a LOT of care.
