316. I always support people questioning official narrative

but in reality JFK himself was never obssessed with the truth. He was the ultimate pragmatist, and felt no twinge of guilt in keeping his health problems and his many affairs from the public and his family, or obfuscating his role in the sinking of his own PT boat. These hidden truths make him no less of a great president, and he might even be amused at the continuing fascination with the public over the motives behind his own murder.

JFK is dead. Likely, so are the perp(s) and the people behind them, their motives. I don't have any big reaction to people with pet fascinations, I have my own, but I do seek to understand them. In 2008 I have difficulty ascribing any importance whatsoever to the motives behind JFK's death outside of mere historical interest.
