264. How is the memory of JFK enhanced by engaging in CTs that are pure fantasy?
You insult those of us who find the EVIDENCE compelling, as if to believe in the conclusions of the WCR, Bugliosi and others is to hate the memory of JFK.

I'll never forget coming home from elementary school that day to see my mom crying, and to listen as she told us what had happened. That day has haunted all of us, and the haunting doesn't stop when you realize that Oswald acted alone, and that there wasn't some grand conspiracy behind his senseless and tragic act.

What you can't seem to wrap your head around is the idea that a small, insignificant person like Oswald could pull off such a world-shaking event. Well, that happens sometimes. Out of the 2-million-plus parts that make up a space shuttle, it was a non-techie rubber O-ring failing that brought down the Challenger Shuttle. Steve Fossett set a ton of world records and died when he flew a run-of-the-mill single-engine airplane into the side of a mountain during what amounted to a joy ride.

Yep, shit happens. But sometimes, shit happens and myths spring up those surrounding Mamma Cass, who died from heart failure but has the unfortunate myth following her to this day that she died while choking on a ham sandwich. The JFK CTs are myth based, not evidence based.

BTW- who is shutting down your discussion? Since when is offering contrary, EVIDENCE-based arguments shutting down a discussion? Perhaps you don't really want a discussion. Perhaps, you're interested only in concurrence, not conversation or - gasp! - confrontation.
