220. I watched that Discovery Channel documentary
I watched that Discovery Channel documentary with great interest.
They determined the minimum number of bullets, based on the nature of the wounds.
Then they recorded how long it took their expert sniper to get off that number of shots.
Then they looked at the sight-lines from the Depository to the motorcade path, and combined that with the known speed of the vehicles. When they concluded that Oswald did not have the time to get off the correct number of shots because of the trees in the way, they speculated that this proved some of the prior evidence (timing or trees) was "obviously" in error. They discarded the evidence they didn't like, and went on to "prove" that LHO was the lone assassin.

William of Occam's razor says you must take the simplest explanation that covers all of the evidence. It does not say you you should take the simplest explanation and discard the evidence that doesn't fit. This documentary actually proved, from a standpoint of science, logic and the evidence presented, that LHO could not have been the only shooter.

P.S. High-velocity bullet exit wounds are always larger than the entry wound, due to the physics of hydrostatic shock. Forensics 101.
