Freeper Mom: Letter to my brainwashed son

I hate to blast you, because I know you don’t know what you are doing, but you think nothing of blindsiding me, so here goes.

Sorry Jason, but I can’t let you get away with spouting the leftist dogma to me. Lets see, why do you think Farrakhan, Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Castro, Ayers, Rev. Wright, Odinga (why don’t YOU try looking into the facts about Odinga a little more deeply) all like this guy and why do they support him? Do you think it is coincidence? Or do you think there could something bigger going on, that whether you want to admit it or not, that has been implanting in the American psych the hate America propaganda, and hate whitey propaganda, you grew up hearing it. Hatred, jealousy. It’s much better to blame someone else, than look at ourselves. I have had a lot of problems and not been responsible in my life. I didn’t do what is wise. But I don’t blame you because you have worked all these years and earned what you have. I don’t expect you to take care of me. But that is what the left is doing. They want to make you pay for their problems. They take drugs and you must see they have housing and babysitters, and food stamps. Now granted there is a place for compassion, but not at the expense of the working class.

Lets see I see you referring to the Keating Five, what about the the Students for a Democratic Society, or the Weather Underground? Why aren’t you giving them the same attention? I think I told you I hung out with SDS’s when I was a social worker in New York. I physically knew Boudin, Ayers, Dohrn. They came to my apartment and had wine with me. I knew those people. I knew the hatred, and the jealousy. One of our favorite movies was called “Zabriski Point” I just remember they blew up everything in that movie, and I remember wondering when I watched that movie, how I ever got to that place where I was so full of hate. How is it that you are so ready to side with the likes of a Madonna, who has lead men around by leashes in her videos or Lindsay Lohan who is barely literate. What’s his name Maher that gross pip squeak. Yet a lady who has led a normal life with marriage, children her own business, standing up to corruption in her own party, she is maligned as if she were the devil. She shoots animals for food, in Alaska they do that. It is very expensive up there. She took responsibility for each child she had, she didn’t kill them to hide anything that might stunt her career. I guarantee that each of those celebrity women who are hating Palin right now have had an abortion. That is why they hate her so much….been there, done that.

You don’t seem to want to see how crazy they are when it comes to ordinary people. People who aren’t attention getters, who don’t want what someone else has, who just live normal lives. Obama sat in a church for 20 years that spouted hate whitey and God damn America and he never noticed? If I sat in David Dukes church for 20 years and then said I didn’t cotton with KKK would you believe it?

Anyway, I said enough for now. Please don’t come back at me with your one sided arguments. Do some investigation of your side. I have watched all this unfolding for years. I guess that’s not a fair thing to say, but it’s the truth, I’m older than you! Jason I saw things a long time ago, because I saw what hate does to a person first hand when I was young. I wanted to homeschool you back then because I saw the schools were starting to indoctrinate kids, instead of teaching them back then. Kids are so illiterate and the people like Ayers are responsible for that. They care more about instilling hate into young people than teaching them actual reading writing and arithmetic. Well, it worked pretty well. And the stupid thing is they are about to wreck their own country! How stupid is that? Love mom

This was in response to a email from my son, when I sent him the Odinga video. I didn't end up homeschooling him very long, his father put him in school when he divorced me.

I think a # of Freepers have family members who are certified moonbats. Mine is my lefty brother. We all have our crosses to bear.

Abigail, I feel your pain, I have a son in grad school up among the great unwashed in Santa Cruz, and have had some sharp exchanges with him also. (at least he's more inclined to vote 3rd party, Green or Constitution party, rather than dem). The leftist control of our education system has to be addressed in the future, because that's the only way they keep their power.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I totally agree with you about feeling the celebrity women's vitriolic response to Palin is subconsciously based on abortion guilt, I think it is also widespread among the feminist movement also. The women who felt so right in exercising their ‘choice’ either for inconvenient pregnancies or due to prenatal testing results, are having to face the possibility that they may have made the wrong decision, or for the wrong reasons. Every time Sarah talks about every child being a gift, and being precious, has got to sting. To me, guilt is the only rational reason that all these women are responding so irrationally.

Just get the kid a passport and tell him not to come back until he has spent at least 6 months in a communist country.

I totally feel your pain! My brother is a certified moonbat and it’s impossible to reason with him. It’s a crying shame - I think he’s well past the point of no return. He went to a typical leftist university and unsurprisingly came out a hardened RAT.

Abigail, I do however take issue with your points about wishing you had homeschooled him so you could teach him “reading writing and arithmetic.” Your grasp of grammar, quite frankly, is atrocious.

The video testimony from the survivors is in Hungarian, but the museum itself has panels in Hungarian and English.

When I left the museum, I sat in total silence for quite a while still trying to take in what I had seen.

People are so damn stupid to embrace democrats and their communist ideology.

Don't these people realize that in order for communism to even be attempted, murder and other horrific atrocities are necessary.

I think that some people (your son, my mother and sister) are pre-programmed to be crazy.

2out of my 3 sons do this to me all the time. They entrap me. I’m pretty sick of it. The oldest wanted to know how I felt about these elections. I said I didn’t want to talk about it. It was all come on mom, I want to know. He already knows I am a conservative, and he gets me everytime. Once we argue he says, “I’m done” he doesn’t want to talk politics anymore. I can’t believe he gets me everytime.

Write what you want to say. Tell them to talk about the issues on their side for a change. It is terrible when they spew ‘facts’ and you have to look them up. I just decided not to do it this time, to turn the tables on him.

They don’t spew facts, they spew crap. It’s all liberal stuff. They are on the wrong side of everything.

This will not work. Perhaps he sees you as "brainwashed"?

Do not let politics drive your son from you. Life is so much more interesting than political partisanship. If he supports Obama, so what?

My dad, two of my children, and almost everyone I work with are raging Democrats. It grieves me and makes it hard to relax. The next few weeks will be hard fought.

Very astute. And upon reading it, the song "Harper Valley PTA" came instantly to my mind. Sarah Palin is Mrs. Johnson addressing the critical hypocrites.
