41. The People vs. The Military Industrial Complex
I think it's as simple as my subject line. This is America's best chance to fight back against the MIC from the point of view of successful litigation, and it's been successfully stymied at the agency level by the politicos/crims within the agencies or at the State Dept and the WH. It's why Sibel was gagged - I am a little surprised that she hasn't been suicided yet, but I'm guessing there are enough people in the various agencies who would throw their careers and make a stand if that happened. This runs deep. At the moment, I guess the CIA and other anti-MIC people in the agencies are waiting to see if Congress picks it up. It's crucial that they do, and it could bring down a lot of the establishment - which is maybe why they won't do it. Too many on both sides of the House could be affected by this. However, Conyers may be the best hope, if he takes it on board and believes in it, he will run with it with a vengeance. It could take a couple of years to get it all out, which would make it perfect for the election period - it would be another Watergate and would guarantee a Dem victory. The only other scandal this size worth following up come what may is election fraud in Florida, or maybe Ohio. It's got to be a priority.
