Maybe it's time for thousands of us to start calling and writing to the media folk who will be covering the election and asking, "Given that we now know that the official election results are difficult if not impossible to verify and that the initial results are often later shown to be incorrect, how do you plan to verify the election results you receive before reporting them?

This could also be done via comments after their articles posted online that relate to the election.

Should any DUers out there want to do this (maybe it could become an Activist corps project???), here are some resources to give to them to help them learn about just how little they should trust the "official" election results:
