120. Someone might want to take a closer look at former US Army Major General Kenneth L. Privratsky
who rose throughout his distinguished service career to become the Commanding General in charge of Military Traffic Management. He worked closely with Mr. Rumsfeld on transformation policies in the area of logistics-getting whatever was required by units when required.

This has been a failure and resulted in thousands of deaths and wounds.

Ken Privratsky retired to Anchorage, Alaska and became VP and GM of CSX Alaska, which had been known as Sea-Land.

The Carlyle Group purchased CSX Alaska in February 2003 and renamed it Horizon Lines.
Vanessa Orr wrote an article about Alaska business prospects for 2004 that included Ken Privratsky and Horizon Lines.

Last August federal agents raided officials offices including Senator Ted Stevens, Alaska Senate President Ben Stevens and others in a scandal involving VECO and BP.

Perhaps someone could look further into the possibility of corruption in Military Traffic Management and the ethics of doing business in Alaska.

Mr. Privratsky may have some interesting answers to these questions.

Fair use cited on links.
