Reply #9: We're already exporting gasoline & diesel

The oil we produce is full of sulphur and requires a great deal more refining before the gasoline would meet our environmental standards. Instead, the oil companies are selling this shit gasoline to other countries with lower environmental standards. If they were to start refining oil from here for our consumption, there's no way the price would go down simply because it would be more costly to the oil companies to meet our environmental requirements.

It's all a scam and only allows the oil companies to profit more off of this crappy low-grade gasoline.
