22. No I do not.
I abhor loyalty over critical thinking. I think it is almost always a cop out and a reason to have an opinion even if it is not your own. It is a need to belong so strong that people are willing to let their own minds go blank. That is the reason I am so distressed seeing it become an issue here. While I am no longer a Democrat I am most likely to vote for them,or some of them, but the longer this need for blind loyalty goes on the farther away from any democratic principles they travel.

There is a case to be made for loyalty in the old sense of the word. A person can be on the same side, defend it to the death, but still be allowed to differ. That is what makes a party strong, truly strong and viable. Now loyalty seems to mean you do not question nor do you doubt nor do you ever try to change things (real true change). Blech. It makes us all weak and stupid.
