196. "Denigrate" the moderator's announcement?
Here's what I said in post #138:

The mouthpiece of an ideology antithetical to the Democratic Party -- and we're singing "Kumbyah"?

I'm not supporting "inflammatory crap" but I am condemning this idealized superiority trip that we're somehow "better than them" because we respect the dead (no matter how inappropriate their actions were in life...). :eyes:

Feel free to research some of Tony Snow's press conferences. I suggest you start with July 5, 2006.

Skinner's comments in his original post were about inappropriate posts and inflammatory crap. You say I felt compelled to denigrate Skinner's "announcement"? How can I denigrate Skinner's post if I'm not supporting inflammatory crap?

This has become pointless. If you choose to have a moment of silence for Dick Cheney -- knock yourself out. But if you insist that I do the same, simply because you believe you have the market cornered on appropriateness, morality, or decency -- then you can expect me to disagree.
