63. I love Portland. But it's not really "hippy".
I have this image in my mind of a contemporary hippie, in hippie clothes, smoking weed and playing hacky-sack and playing juice-harps and didgeridoos and freedom dancing in the park. You don't find that as often in Portland as you would in Eugene, for instance.

Portland is chock full of liberals and progressives, and I love it. I'm saying, DO visit Portland, but don't expect it to look like the image above.
