183. Because these ARE the alternatives.

We are being given candidates A-E, and some of them are great on social issues, and some of them are great on the war. For me, labels (D or R) used to matter a lot. Until I watched Pelosi and Reid cave again and again on the war.

We WON in 2006 on the war. Now that we've got a majority, suddenly the war isn't important?

Bullshit. Ron Paul is the only candidate with anything like a realistic chance at his party's nomination who has been steadfastly against the war from the beginning AND who has promised to end it as soon as he takes office. In a perfect world would I rather have Kucinich as president? Sure. And I've sent him money, too.

But we don't live in a perfect world. I'm not going to vote for a candidate who won't affirmatively take nuclear murder off of the table in dealing with Iran. I'm not going to vote for a candidate who cares more about the well-being of the people of Israel than the well-being of the people of Iran. That rules out Hillary, Obama and Edwards.

It leaves Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, Mike Gravel and Chris Dodd. I've sent money to 3 out of those 4 candidates. If one of them gets the nomination of his party, I will send more money to that person and vote for him. I don't give a shit if he's riding an elephant, a donkey or a bull moose.
