11. Interesting connection between Kucinich and John Lennon
Dennis is a friends Alex Jack who is also a close friend of Michio Kushi, leader of the macrobiotic community in Becket, Ma. Alex lives at the center.

Dennis is vegan, Alex is macrobiotic-both diets are based on a philosophy of peace. John Lennon and Yoko Ono stayed with Michio at his home in Brookline, Ma and became deeply involved in the macrobiotic way of life. That is how John lost a lot of weight.

Michio is from Japan and we all know that after WWII, Japan changed it's philosophy to that of a peaceful nation. Michio's philosophy about food is that peace begins One Grain of Rice at a Time.

Alex Jack is still involved with the One Peaceful World organization based at the Kushi Institute in Becket, Ma

More about Alex:

When I was in NH in 2003, I went to a rally in Manchester to see Michael Moore speak. Dennis was there and I mentioned that he and I had a mutual acquaintence-Alex Jack. We had a great discussion about food and peace after that. Ever since, I have loved the guy. He is so down to earth and real.
