202. It's just a carnie con game.

The Republicans will distance themselves from Bush. It's all part of the plan. Meanwhile the Democrats are, at best, ineffectual and, at worst, part of the dog and pony show. The public grows disgusted with both parties, but will let the Dems have it for not showing some spine. It's all part of the plan. Bill and Hillary are thick as thieves with Poppy Bush and the corporations. I don't trust the rest of the Dems, either.

Keep your eyes on ol' Karl the carnie's hands as he moves the cups around on the table. Which one conceals the nut? You'll guess incorrectly every. single. time. But it doesn't even matter. It's not about the nut under the cup, anyway. It's about something else, somewhere else. Something that doesn't even register because your focus is on the game, the meaningless, pointless game.

Call your representative. Write your senator. Buy blue. Protest every week. Man the phones. Walk the precinct. Vote for the candidate of your choice. Yes, by all means, focus on the meaningless, pointless game.

You think you have a choice, but Karl the carnie makes the choice for you...a choice that doesn't even matter because as you spend your energy focusing on the game, the other carnies from both sides of Midway steal in to pick your pockets.
