then I would agree.

Before hooking up with Bush, Alberto's legal experience was limited to working at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins. Here is some background on the firm:

The firm is known for its energy industry expertise. However, in recent years, it has also been recognized as a leader in many other practices including public finance, infrastructure development, international transactions, media law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, class action defense, regulatory matters, professional liability, and complex commercial litigation. Known for its traditionally friendly work atmosphere and excellent employee benefits, Vinson & Elkins was voted one of the best places to work in Texas in 2006. Outside of the law, Vinson & Elkins has also been recognized for its community involvement and support for the arts.

Among others, Vinson & Elkins represented the failed energy company Enron prior to the company's collapse in 2001. This led to a number of lawsuits against Vinson & Elkins and others by former Enron employees and shareholders. After nearly five years of legal battles, Vinson & Elkins was dismissed in January 2007 from the last significant litigation related to the Enron collapse.

Currently, the firm represents former Congressman Bob Ney in connection with the Jack Abramoff corruption scandal.
