We could see how zealous Bush was about his "ideological struggle" he was waging against Iraqis and a good number of us acted to elect Democrats to confront him. . . but not enough to bind him. Now we have to work to make certain republicans who hold the veto-busting balance of votes are held to account for the senseless squandering of lives and resources in the escalated occupation and join our Democratic majority to end it.
