126. I would think that the constitutionality of his proclamation would be in question
The Founding Fathers intended for there to be 3 branches of government. And unless I misread the document the VP is second in the chain of command behind the President, making him a member of the executive branch. Dick Cheney would like his own separate branch of government just for himself. I don't recall the Constitution making a provision for a 4th branch of government. Why doesn't Cheney just go ahead and declare himself an independent nation. Then perhaps we could invade him and restore democracy to Dick Cheney; the dictator Dick Cheney is now a totalitarian government unto himself and must be stopped. He his proved to us that he is harboring weapons of mass distraction and is a terrorist. He certainly frightens me!!

Anyway, starting to ramble. Will Pitt thanks for the post. Great as always!! You expressed my feelings succinctly.
