211. RIP to a fellow Vet
I always made certain that I paid attention to/read Monkeyman's DU posts. I was never disappointed. He will be missed on DU and untold other places, in the cyber and non-cyber realms. RIP and Blessed Be, MM/Dale.

Withywindle, your comment, "It's not uncommon for one spouse to follow another shortly," was right-on. I can attest from personal experience as my parents passed away 6 weeks apart (my Mom died on 12/25/05 and then my Dad passed on 2/14/06) They grew-up together in a small rural Ohio town, went to the same schools K-12. and ended up marrying in 1944 just before my Dad (a Navy corpsman) shipped out to the Pacific theater. -- Michael
