Change is something that some don't like in this country. What happens? They not only send out their jackbooted thugs, the Teabaggers, in a public rampage to "take their country back"; the conservatives have to make it a point to continue to revive Old Jim Crow by continuing to encroach upon the rights of people of color.

Those who "don't see this type of racism" because they are deluded with the belief that we are in a "post-racial America", are willfully ignorant and devoid of any cultural knowledge whatsoever.

Every once in a while, white America makes it a point to teach people of color why they aren't equal in this country by engaging in this type of crap and passing fascist law. And when they ignore the repercussions of what laws such as this do to the dignity and liberty of those of color, they make sure that people of color have a permanent place among second class citizenry.

After all, they have to show that Black POTUS, who's truly boss. :sarcasm:

That's why "Goddamn America" is such a powerful and telling statement about this country.
