didn't have integrity or honor, so he was willing to do things Jimmy Carter could not have anticipated. Otoh, I suppose you can call a criminal 'skilled' if he gets away with.

Jimmy Carter was undermined, possibly by treasonous acts, regarding the hostages which lost him the presidency. From all I've read about the 1980 election, I believe Reagan and his band of rightwing ideologues, did commit treason by undermining the efforts of a sitting president to get US citizens released from captivity. If that is true, and imo, it is from all I've read, I think that fits the definition of treason.

I can never understand the adulation of this man in this country. I especially do not understand Democrats who go along with it.
