Your opinion of all religion would seem to be beside the point. Bullshit or not, it's the actions of SOME churches that was wrong, specifically in this thread the Mormon Church. Other churches also stood up and opposed the proposition.

Any group can stand up and stick their noses anywhere they like. However, I do agree that if any church becomes political in this way, they should lose their tax exempt status.
