22. My advice.
Just as there is no way to accurately predict where lightning is going to strike, there is no way to predict where an actual* terrorist attack is going to happen. So don't worry about it.

The point of terrorism is to sow fear and attempt to disrupt the everyday life of people. One great way to resist the power of actual* terrorism is to prove that the power of decency is stronger. So go out and have a nice day.

Which brings us to the asterisk:

* I'm a lot less worried about a bunch of nightgown wearing rednecks attacking me than I am about the Cheney administration propagating a false-flag terrorist attack against me. In that case, the attack will have many self-serving purposes. Among them will be:

* Harming, frightening, and changing the opinion of the political opposition;
* Destroying documentation of past crimes;
* Minimizing damage to conservative assets;
* Creating a climate which better allows for totalitarianism.

With those objectives in mind, the obvious target is the Capitol and Congressional offices in DC, particularly the Senate Hart and Dirksen buildings (which, surely by coincidence, was also the target of the 2001 anthrax attacks). You can be certain that any Cheney-perpetrated attack will have a blast radius small enough to avoid destroying the executive branch offices and the White House, so just stay about 700 yards away from the Capitol and you should be fine.

A secondary--and far less likely--consideration might be to stay away from any mass demonstrations scheduled for that day in any major urban area, because all urban areas are liberal bastions. San Francisco seems an obvious choice, as does New York City.

Houston, on the other hand, is the place I'd go on vacation if I still lived in DC. Among other things, Halliburton still hasn't cleaned out its offices there while they're busy sneaking off to Dubai with all our money.
