Hundreds of people in one of four lines 4 HOURS before gates were due to open!

By the time the doors opened, there were probably 7000 people already in line!

There was a band to warm up the crowd, but it didn't start getting crazy until the "Yes We Can" video went up on the jumbotron!

Waiting for the candidate...

A few volunteers and campaign reps had us do some cheers, but most of us had waited so long outside that we were very restless as the time wore on.

Finally, Obama emerged from the tunnel! If you look closely at the smallest Texas sign in the pic, you can see Barack shaking hands with the folks on the front row.

Barack rocked the house! I am sure many of you watched the speech on TV, but the crowd noise from within the area was absolutely DEAFENING! People especially roared when he talked about ending the war and supporting the troops by taking care of them when they get home.

The mix in the crowd was beautiful! It was truly a reflection of the diversity of Texas, the most racially diverse state in the nation.

It was well worth waiting in line for hours!
