never served in the military, I had my problems, but I sure supported the troops and I can't understand even after the protests in the 60's and 70's the cops haven't learned much. They are not above the law.

Great grandpa was in the military , both of my grandparents were in WWII in some form. One uncle came back bad from Vietnam. Another came close to shipping to the frontlines but was transferred at the last minute. (this was back during the draft he's more like me) Odd.

Dad was in the National Guard. ie before they started sending out National Guard internationally. :( We know friends and family over there. But come back and get shot in a peaceful protest (throwing plastic water bottles if that actually happened ) didn't require such overkill. ie yeah Kent State. 4 dead and 60-70 shots at protesters

And going to the VA for grandpa for 2 years until he died in 2008... plenty of good vets there (men women) because grandma was married to one, she's allowed to be there. Had to move her when the one in Charlotte/Iowa Falls closed (Nursing Home)
