want the country divided but "news" and ratings are secondary to their interests. I'm convinced the reich wing elements of the corporate media don't believe half the shit they spew, but they know the power of emotional propaganda.

They know the easiest way to dominate "We the Peoples'" government; on behalf of corporate supremacy, is the Machiavellian model of "divide and conquer," and dividing the American People is the means to the end of giving preeminence to corporate interests over those of the people. In this regard the corporate media are working on behalf of their corporate ad/commercial buying clients' interests, the American People are only viewed as customers or consumers to be sold a product, candidate or down the river, we're expendable.
