but I read a good article comparing him to Orson Welles. His Production Company is named after Welle's 'mercury radio theater.' He's deliberately working people into a frenzy, like Welles accidentally did during his Halloween broadcast of "War of the Worlds."

Beck's version is 'War of the Words, Invasion from Marx.' Now his 'followers' are in the same state of mass hysteria as the folks in New Jersey who ran around 'hunting martians' during the Halloween broadcast. They actually believe that a routine and banal speech by the President about 'staying in school, 'is some kind of 'Hitler Youth' indoctrination.

When I see clips like this, I stop being amused and start wondering: What is he trying to make his followers do? He wrapped up all that nonsense about 'commie art' and the rockefellers by a dig at Van Jones. Is he trying to get his people to after Van Jones? Or, it wouldn't surprise me if this was the opening round attacking government funded art, like the N.E.A.
