Oh man, we are so screwed. Keep in mind no matter how bad it gets, a pharmaceutical company has a mood altering drug ready to dull the pain. What a great time to be a corporate fat cat - handouts and bailouts and big slices of treasury into the hands of the ultra rich.

From the CIA contractors who tortured victims, to wall street swine who swindled our retirement funds, to AT&T who tapped our phones and routed our mail to NSA and FBI who spied on Americans, to the bastards who started a war based on lies - Amnesty all around.

But for everyone else, life moving toward hell faster than I expected. Now we have both political parties fully endorsing a corporate style fascism. Ah the media - well, you might have noticed that insurance and health care corporations are massive sponsors. So don't expect to get any objective reporting. News Flash - "Industry leaders say they will try very very very hard to control costs, however, they reiterated they need less regulation to make this happen...."

So most everyone sits on their asses and we watch hope dashed so thoroughly and completely upon the rocks of corporate America. The executive branch really is for corporate executives and Obama is behaving like he is preparing for a corner CEO job when the whitehouse gig is over.

There should be people in the streets making very big noises. But there won't be. Because people are afraid of police and losing what little they have. Historically, this form of government control of its population is well documented and the consequences of this apathy are always severe.
