261. I know you take no pleasure from these images.
I know you take no pleasure from these images.

I've been accused of not knowing what war is like. I'm afraid I know too well. The whole motivation for this war is a fraud. We could have easily contained Saddam and worked through sanctions to keep him bottled up. It pains me greatly to know that these horrible things are happening in our name. Now, I know our armed forces are doing their best to keep the innocent lives lost to a minimum but really, how does it feel to be an acceptable statistic? Collateral damage? I fear that we're also hardening our young troops so they come back home to a peaceful existence but will always carry this horror with them.

Do these dead innocents know we did this for their own good?

I haven't heard back from my brother yet. He's a right winger but he's not a heartless b*stard.

I wonder if the glorious leader sees these kind of images or like his mom, are they too horrible for his 'beautiful' mind?

War is hell. This war is really hell since I don't remember any Iraqis attacking me or anyone I know.
