My cardiologist keeps telling me that humor is the best medicine. With that in mind, I tuned into fux for my comedy dose, and was welcomed by this:

"Is polititical bickering a distraction from the War on Terror"?

They are so desperate to keep the focus on terrorism, it's all the bastards think they have.

A distraction?

NSA spying a distraction
DPW deal, and UAE funneling millions into the coffers of the bush family a distraction?
Iraq teetering on the brink of a full-blown civil war a distraction?
Torture of detainees a distraction?
Congressional corruption a distraction?
Gonzalez derailing Plame investigation by withholding information a distraction?
Cheney shooting some sleazy lawyer in the face, then waiting to get sober before the cops see him a distraction?

The list is endless, but what does any of it have to do with Terra? If it doesn't relate to terror, then it's not important. Which goes a long way towards explaining why fuckface was playing golf in Arizona while Americans were dying in New Orleans.
