5. He was very adamant against Clinton's impeachment
He was all over TV then too. He printed full page ads in all the local newspapers listing his reasons against impeachment. Bottom line, then and now, King is just preaching to the choir among his constituents.

He is up for reelection soon and the finger in the wind says he is not a shoo in this time. Being against the ports deal will not be looked upon unfavorably among the majority of his constituents living 30 miles or so from New York City Ports.

When push comes to shove, all politics is LOCAL.
